A localization project team includes editors who also have
considerable experience as system engineers. They actually operate the software to be
localized to check the product closely and collect necessary information on their own and
give feedback to staff members.
I take advantage of years of experience in translation of publications in order for the
entire team to produce easy-to-read translations. Close collaboration between team members
is already a big part of our company culture.
I think that translation is a service business. A translator is similar to a chef. A dish
is a work containing different tastes and ingenuities as ingredients, but a chef cannot
fall into self-satisfaction and complacency. Similarly, we cannot assume that we did
excellent jobs until our corporate customers and end users are completely satisfied with
them.
For this reason, we would like customers to explain their needs in detail. For example, a
customer may want us to strictly translate word for word, and another customer may want us
to provide reader-friendly, casual translations. It is our pleasure to respond to these
customer needs.
